Houston Rockets Summer League Primer: Part III

Rockets.com catches up with Rod Benson and Brad Newley

Houston - We're now less than 24 hours away from the start of Summer League action in Las Vegas. This afternoon, 14 young players boarded a flight from Houston to Sin City to represent the Rockets at the annual event which serves as a showcase for players anxious to catch the eye of NBA coaches and execs.

Houston's roster (which you can view here) is loaded with intriguing prospects; from recent draft picks such as Jermaine Taylor, Chase Budinger and Joey Dorsey, to players who have lit up the D-League like James White, Rod Benson and Will Conroy.

Some names you're probably already very familiar with, but others might not ring a bell which is why Rockets.com is using this week to introduce you to some of the players who will be representing the Rockets in Las Vegas. We're posting exclusive one-on-one interviews with members of the summer league squad, so check-in regularly to hear what these hard-working and talented players have to say.
