Local Broadcast Schedules Announced

The Detroit Pistons announced their 2010-11 local television schedule Thursday with 80 of the team’s regular-season games being televised by FOX Sports Detroit. Including one ESPN broadcast as part of the NBA’s national television schedule, 81 of the club’s 82 regular-season games will be available on television. All Pistons games will be available on either 97.1 FM The Ticket or WWJ 950 AM. Download | Print (PDF)

    Rodney Stuckey doesn’t know where he’d be if not for the kindness of the woman he now calls his stepmom, Diane McElhinney, when he was in danger of falling through the cracks. Now he’s paying it forward, helping 500 underprivileged Detroit-area kids get ready for the school year by handing out backpacks and knit Pistons caps and spending a day with them at Orchards Children’s Services.     Lean and Hungry

    Rodney Stuckey hasn’t stepped on a scale all summer and won’t until he officially checks in for training camp, but here’s a clue which direction his weight has gone: He’s had to poke new holes in his belt to keep his pants up. Working out and getting up shots has consumed Stuckey’s summer as he looks forward to erasing the frustration of last season, he says in the latest entry of True Blue Pistons.
